Richie Rose is from a little town in the hills of Eastern Kentucky where anointed gospel music heritage runs deep. Richie is married to Bridgett Fields Rose who also comes from a great christian singing family. They have one son, Noah Richard Rose.
Richie began singing in church at the age of 10, and then at the age of 16 he wanted to pursue what most people wanted in the world--a career in country music and whatever the world had to offer. He played night clubs and traveled to Nashville to record demos, trying every way to get in the spotlight. But one night on March 7, 2003 that light became very dim. Richie was struck in a head-on collision that nearly caused him to lose his life--more importantly his soul. He was on life support for several weeks at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.
By the Grace of God, Richie survived. With the power of prayer from family, friends, and his church, Richie gave his life and his talent to the Lord. Because of this, he has seen many souls saved for His Kingdom. Richie feels so blessed that he is a part of Golden Vine Productions. This company is headed by producer and gospel artist, Darrell Freeman of the nationally-known gospel group, The Freemans.
"The Freemans have helped me so much," said Richie. "Darrell feels like my brother instead of my producer. He is always there for me."
